Iqbal Town or Allama Iqbal Town is located towards the west-south of city with boundaries with Multan Road and Wahdat Road to the south as well. The Town started in late 70s while the neighbor societies include Wahdat Colony, Samanabad, Ichhhra and others. Iqbal Town is a combination of residential and commercial areas. Gulshan Iqbal Park is a big source of entertainment for the residents of Iqbal Town. The park was opened to public visits in April 1982 year. People around the city visits the park especially in evening.
