Pakistan is a developing country and the opportunities to invest and get returns in the developing country is always rich than the developed countries. As Pakistan is a developing country and seeking for the improvement in all walks of life, so the economy of Pakistan is also seems to be improved than ever. Recently the agreement between the Bahria Town and Mr. Thomas Kramer an investor from America has signed a pact for the construction of Bodha Island near Defence Karachi PAKISTAN in the sea. The agreement also includes the construction of the world’s largest building.
Pakistan is now also looking for the Skyscrapers and the deal between the Bahria Town and US Investor is very interesting and hopeful for the economy of Pakistan. Here are the Skylines within the Pakistan that are under the development process.
The Centaurus:
Centaurus is a building project in the middle of Islamabad Pakistan, comprising three Skyscrapers. It is located on the Nazim-ud-din Road in Sector F8 and is opposite to the Islamabad Children Hospital which is located in the Sector G8. Blue Area is very near to the Centaurus. This project is designed by a British company WS Atkins, the project includes the residential apartments, corporate offices, a 5 Star Hotel a parking area. All of the scrapers are linked through the Shopping Mall. This is a new concept in Pakistan for taller buildings, as the tallest skyscraper in the City have 41 stories with estimated cost of $350 million.
The Centaurus Mall:
It is located over the four stories along with 250 shops. It has a five-screen cinema, food court that containing the international fast food chain outlets, fun city for the children enjoyment and the parking area in the basement of four levels to tackle the parking problems.
The Mall:
The Mall is consist of a tower named as the Sofitel Tower have 28 floors along with the 4 parking levels in the basement and 1 level for the super market in also in the basement. It located in Clifton on Khayaban-e-Iqbal Road near the Clifton Underpass. The Mall comprises of the executive lounges, Shopping Center, executive suites and residential rooms. It is designed by the Arcop PVT LTD. from Karachi. The estimated cost for this project was 9.3 million USD. This project had completed in December 2011.
