Okara is a District of Sahiwal Division in Punjab, 110 km away from Faisalabad and 100 km passing away Ravi River. Okara was developed in British rules. On that time, the city consisted on six blocks, with the same sized houses in it. That was one of the most beautiful project of that time. The District shares its boundaries with Bahawalnagar, Pakpattan, and Sahiwal. Okara District probably has a known agricultural department, but the city is famous for its fertile lands and green fields, which makes its environment more peaceful and close to nature. Most probably, Okara is famous for fields of wheat, potato, tomato, rice and maize crops. Okara is totally a facilitated city. With educational institutes and visiting places, Okara consist of two large stadiums in it.
