Margalla is a mega project in the vicinity of Capital of Pakistan Islamabad. But due to the lack of interest of CDA Capital Development Authority Islamabad it is delayed. Especially 8 kilometer Road between Sector B-17 & D-12 needs much more attention than any other. The project was started in the June, but the progress is very slow and seems like that it cannot be completed within the given time period of one year.
Now the Chairman of CDA directed that the construction work of Margalla Avenue needs more acceleration. The Chairman also pointed out the hurdles that are standing out in the progress of mega project, added further more that the early completion will be made possible by removing hurdles that may cause slow down the progress of development further more. This project is of utmost importance that it will connect the main roads and bypass each other. CDA assured that the boost in speed will not cost as down ward in quality of development. The Project also includes the overhead bridge on the railway track. The CDA tells about the importance of the overhead bridge that they are helpful in a term that they help the public to avoid most of Accidents those results in lost of their precious lives along with other defectiveness as people prefer to choose the shortcuts in lieu of overhead bridges. This project cost about 588 million rupees and will support the traffic on GT Road.
