Allama Iqbal Town is also known as Iqbal Town and is one of the oldest localities in Lahore. It was constructed in the late ’70s and has been densely populated as a mixed settlement of residential as well as commercial structures. It has now become a well established locality for living.

Allama Iqbal Town is located on the south-west side of Lahore. It is located on the southern boundaries of Multan Road and Wahdat Road. These roads are known to be the main Roads in Lahore. Wahdat Colony, Samanabad, and Ichhra surround it from the side. Because of its central position and good transport links, it is favored by clients and investors.

It was inaugurated in April of 1982 and has since then it has been a place of recreation for the residents of Iqbal Town. It is especially busy during the weekends and in the evening time.
