In Karachi, a big case of corruption has come to the surface. According to the new update, more than 900 housing schemes are declared illegal.
Private as well as co-operative housing schemes both are included in this list. It comes to light in a forensic report by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), revenue board and National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to this report, these 900 co-operative and private housing schemes are constructed illegally and without the approval of concerned authorities. They cheated the public about different matters of reliability and their illegal status.
Many of them are developed on an illegal land while many under the partnership act. Some influential and big hands are at the back of such large corruption. Vast illegal lands are provided for the construction of such schemes. It is purchased with less amount and sold with high prices to the public.
No rules and construction laws are followed by the constructors and builders of these housing projects. The authorities have planned to take strict notice and action against these ill practices and fraud. A procedure is formed for the formation of co-operative housing schemes.
The procedure gets registered by its president. secretary and other members. All the documents then sent to CM and later to Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) for approval and registration.
